• Elliot Cadeau hit a game-tying three-pointer from the right wing with 4.8 seconds to play and made the ensuing free throw for a four-point play to give Carolina a 74-73 win at Notre Dame.
• For the second time in four games (UCLA), Cadeau defended a last-second shot in the lane that preserved a Tar Heel victory.
• Cadeau’s game-winning four-point play was the 17th lead change, the most in any UNC game this season. The previous high was 10 lead changes in the win over Dayton.
• It was the first time a Tar Heel made a four-point play since Kerwin Walton vs. Northeastern on 2/17/2021.
• It was Cadeau’s second three of the game, the first time he made multiple 3FGs since Michigan State on November 27.
• It was the first time UNC won by a point since it beat Notre Dame, 66-65, in Chapel Hill on 1/2/2021.

• RJ Davis passed former teammate Armando Bacot for second in UNC career scoring and ninth in ACC scoring. Davis has 2,353 points. Bacot scored 2,347. Hansbrough is UNC’s and the ACC’s all-time scoring leader with 2,872.
• This was the first time Davis did not score in double figures or make a three this season (he scored eight).
• Davis had a season-best seven assists.
