Fresh off a UNC offer. Went to High School over here near me and I can safely say UNC is the leader right now.
Like Lampkin (Coastal Carolina) that just received All American Honors? Plenty of guys are visiting here this week from the SEC etc. I don’t think it’s a bad thing to get some under the radar grinder type guys like this. Love the under recruited guys with something to prove, especially in the trenches.
No real big splashes but he’s getting nfl prototype bodies in here and is putting returning players on notice that no job is safe. Part of changing the culture is changing the faces. I’d say the over/under on returning starters starting next season is 5.
Guys who are determined to PROVE they belong on the field are what's required. You can overcome lacking size and speed, but if your team lacks a host of guys driven fully to PROVE they should start, then your team has troubles.
Exactly….Plus we are going to take around 25 or 30 in the portal…You need depth and we lost a lot on the DLine as far as starting guys…Some young bucks coming up but they might not be ready yet….
OL and DL are the toughest to scout out of HighSchool…You have kids that play this position that might never play a D1 player in a real game….Now they will be at camps and stuff and do that 1on1 bs but that’s not a real game…
