Even though it was a ball you have to fight it off unless it is way out of the zone
I know you want to win the first one but I still think they should have saved Knapp. They should have 10
Runs right now leaving 8 on base through 6. Now they face the top of the league (if they hit the ball and win) the rest of the weekend without their best pitcher. Just my opinion. I understand why they do it just don’t always agree

I agree partly but with the way the tourney set up and we didn’t play til Friday and will play next week on Friday just keeping him on his regular rotation.. Plus honestly I think they needed to win tonight to help keep what has been projected to be a top 4 seed
They have enough pitching to get by 14 seed BC. It’s much much harder after that
But IMO this game was the most important of the weekend… FSU and Clemson/GT all in the tourney… And if you lose to FSU tomorrow you still split season series 2-2 with having won the regular season series in Tallahassee..
Looking at past seasons in which we were a 1 seed and hosted I don’t remember Forbes or Fox changing up their rotation to open a Regional so might as well keep everyone on same rotation as all weekend as we prepare for a much more important weekend next week

My point was he shouldn’t have pitched at all this game. He should’ve been saved for the weekend. He could have pitched tomorrow and still had plenty of rest for Game 1 of the regionals. But whatever it’s just my opinion I’m old-school where I actually think the ACC tournament meant something.
I'm not saying it doesn't mean anything. I just don't see the need to break up your normal routine when your #2 is one of the best in the league. I'm pretty confident with him against FSU.
I think this first game was a must win to protect seeding for next week
I think our seeding was already locked in. Usually the top four have already been decided by this point. Kinda like the #1 seeds in basketball.
