Shaver went up extremely weak with his blocked layup attempt. He needs to play a lot more aggressive
Nickel BOOM from the corner and then Nickel from the other corner BOOM and he now has 14 points 93-61
Holy smokes this last 10 game minutes has been rag tag. Sloppy and la y and not great effort. And some pretty bad shot selection from guys like McCoy. But they need some real game run if they’re going to get any better. Nickel deserves some regular playing time I think.
Lebo and Farris now in and Watkins with a biscuit basket 100-67
Nice feel good ending to get to 100. Seems like the starters have gotten the message to pass more. And maybe Davis and Love have honed in their shooting a bit.
I must agree the last two games with Davis and Love trusting their teammates more and not feeling they have to carry all of the scoring load the team is actually playing like a team with lots of sharing the rock leading to a ton of assists and a ton of easy baskets…
Glad the boys delivered the biscuits tonight but if I were the opposing team with the shot clock off at the end and we put up a three to hit 100 - let's just say he must not have been appreciative of that move. Wonder what Hubert thought of that. I can just hear him in the handshake line saying, "I'm so sorry about that last shot. It's something about free food for everyone in the house that brings out the best/worse of these guys. By the way, are you hungry? I know where we can get some free food".
