Pinson has to be too hyped up ..over playing .. He's been awful ... The lineup at the end was to preserve fouls ...come out strong 2nd half and we win by 15

Dang Nate, why throw up a 3 there? Got to take it to them they have no one off the bench they WILL go to if someone gets in foul trouble and they would have all but run from you going to the rim.

All in all a pretty dang good first half, but way too many mistakes and not putting them away makes me nervous. You know the zebras will get involved soon, too.

Bench left a lot to be desired in that half. My guess is if Roy doesn't mess around with the lineup, we'll win going away. If the starters don't get into foul trouble, ride them and see where they take you.

I assume that's why Roy went to that odd lineup down the stretch. Preserve fouls and hopefully ride his horses for the second half.

We half those 3's, we have a 10 pt lead at half. This is the corundum. We're trying to beat math. 3's are worth more than 2's. We're not going to have a ridiculous FT advantage. We have to hope we either (a) make enough 2's or (b) Duke misses threes in bunches.

I know what you mean, but Nate was wide open and he knocks that down more often than not.

The most important thing from that first half is that our bigs avoided major foul trouble.

Berry was also +11 in 8 minutes. We replaced that with a combined -1 from Britt and -7 from Pinson. So we lost anywhere from 12-18 points with that tradeoff.

I'm not really disagreeing with the strategy at all... Especially with Duke not having any bodies... But it's a huge risk.
