We're not losing because of any kind of 3pt shooting disparity.

We're shooting the same % from 3 as FSU (we're 6-12, they're 8-16).

But we're 7-22 (32%) from 2, and they're 8-12 (75%).

We are an average ACC team this year and probably should be ranked somewhere between 20-25. Unfortunately, next year we will field a similar team simply because we weren’t able to address our biggest need... a dominant big man.

Who knows, Montgomery and Zion are still out there. Zion isn't a "big man", exactly, but he's his own unique type of dominant. Or perhaps the light will come on for Manley in a big way.

But yeah, I'm growing a bit more antsy about next year's front court.
