Yeah, be a shame if that cost us the game. At least the three point defense, ballhandling, and overall offense are really encouraging this half.
We're losing because Iowa can do anything they want and if we breath on someone it's a foul. Sharpe with 4,Bacot with 4,and Brooks with 4 meanwhile Gsrza has 1
They dug too deep a hole in the first half. Used way to much energy to get back into it and iowa is a heck of a team
2nd chance points did us in. We woulda took a comfortable lead if we didn't give them up at the worst times.
Another second chance point probably destroys the rally. Ugh. Walton losing that ball sucked so much.
Damn that's probably the game right there. We have a fast break and Walton turns it over. They get a putback. Big four point swing at least.
If we didn't play the first 15 minutes like a D2 offense we'd have been up 15 in the middle of the second half.
Iowa is gonna hang over 50 on us this half and did it with putbacks and the inside game mostly early.
The score from the first half to the second half is the same spread. We only played them even this half basically at this point. They started scoring much more at will in the second half. Our bigs got eaten up inside.
I hate to harp on it, but our philosophy on utilizing and guarding the 3 point line leaves us little room for error in all the other areas.
We didn't play that way in the second half and gave up even more points.

Did I say we outplayed them in the second half? I said we'd have been up 15 in the middle of the second half, before they went on the 14-0 run to be clear. With a decent first half offensively our big run to start the second half would've put us way ahead.
