Well we survived the initial CAT attack and lead by 5 ... need to do a much better job on the offensive rebounding. Look for marcus to have a good 2nd half and JJ is really starting to play well I like our chances in the second half

Yeah not an ideal ending but proud we fought back in a very hostile environment.

Great comeback as the Heels lead 38-33 at the half. Tremendous scoring from Jackson but the KEY to the half was from the guy who many said could not coach, stopped Barber with him putting defensive stoppers (Britt and especially Pinson) on him. Barber got 5 whole points in the last 10 minutes when the defensive changes went into effect. Really nothing from Hicks or Meeks yet offensively.

Rowan has been terrible offsetting how good Barber was to start. Need to keep him from getting hot in the 2H.

Offensive rebounds and fts have kept State in the game. Hate not having Berry in the game but Pinson did a hell of a job slowing down Barber after the Cat started the game on fire like he was going to have 50 by half.

He is just all instinct still. He lacks awareness at times. That works on offense a lot but not on defense. There and rebounding is where he really struggles.
