The Heels got down big at various points of the game but never gave up. They played lock down defense late in the second half, and deserved the win. Big confidence builder heading into the OSU game and especially the ACC season. It also improves their resume for the dance, assuming UT continues to play well.

Tough gritty win in a very hostile place. We Played poorly in the first half but came thru down the stretch. Joel Berry is as tough a customer as we have ever had at Carolina. Just clutch and Theo comes thru too.

Young pups in the middle gaining some valuable experience.... team continues to develop and BTW Cam is STILL yet to even get going and make an impact. Really like this team a lot

I don't understand why Tennessee stop.playing Defense the way they did in the first 10-20 minutes. Did they just lose steam or something?

Manley finished the game with 10 points and 8 rebounds. His play in the first half was crucial for the Heels. He's also running the floor noticeably better than he did earlier this season.
