Refs can't do that mess. You can't wait until after the rebound to call a foul on the previous shot. That's about as bad as it gets.
Actually thought it was a block. Just called late.
But if Isiah has 2 fouls in the 1H, that's auto bench. Roy knows better.
Wow - king of all bailout calls there on Hicks. Wow does that suck. We may need some time from Luke May.... or may need to go small. Crucial for Brice and Pinson not to get into further trouble. Too bad we couldn't get Hicks out right there before the half.
Not comfortable with this lead at all. They have shown they can run in the second half and win games, so we have got to find a way to make some shots. We also need to get them into some foul trouble early and start running it more to tire them out. If we can get them tired and keep a 10-15 point lead through the half way point, then I will feel better.
Hicks the human foul machine gets his 3rd with 11 seconds to go but Carolina leads at halftime 39-28... Syracuse getting very little in the paint and they have missed a ton of free throws.

If we can keep this lead, maybe stretch to to 13-15 by the 8:00 mark, Cuse will have to press and go faster. That should play right into our hands.

Yep and he also mentioned they got the wrong guy when Meeks lost the ball earlier - should have only been 2
On replay he looked set and outside the line. Regardless, I have no issue with the call. In college you can not wait to see if it goes in to call it. It makes the refs look incompetent.
Meeks with 4/4 9 points in the first half and still getting hate. C'mon guysm. Rally around the team!

Not fast enough.
It's a frustrating habit though. This is a game Hicks can go for 18/10 in 24 minutes. But he rarely allows himself the opportunity to play huge minutes.
Good thing Meeks and James really stepped up though.
The important things are there...getting good shots against the zone and playing good defense. Keep that up and shooting levels out and we should be in good shape.
Yeah, that response you got was completely homer-ish. Hicks' biggest problem is Foul Trouble. He'd have gotten more of Meeks' minutes if Fouls weren't such a liability.
Man, we're playing great defense. If we keep that up, Syracuse is done. And James came up big too.
