Big series this weekend. We are currently in fifth place in the ACC. Top four teams get a double bye.

Wow! Do you have season tickets for woodpeckers? My brother and his wife lives in Fayetteville, NC, when I travel to NC normally I try to make it to a game or two. My wife unfortunately is not a baseball fan.

I wasn't able to watch it, but was keeping up on the live stats. Looks like a very uncharacteristic game for Haugh. Need to get the game tomorrow so we can stay in the hunt for the double bye.

That VT coach is something else. The sportsmanship he is teaching…..or not teaching….. these young men is quite disturbing. It’s been that way for a while in Blacksburg unfortunately

The cool thing is with the weekend flex pack I get all the giveaway nights and since they let us in 20 minutes early we are guaranteed to get one. They have 3 jersey nights this year and they give away some nice jerseys. The one I want is a cool camo one with Eighty Deuces on the front celebrating the 82nd airborne. That is the next Friday home game.

UNC baseball has a chance to finish in the top 4, they have a game against Presbyterian on 4/22 and then they close out the season against Pitt. With NC State and Clemson facing off, along with GT and UVA the opportunity is there for UNC to finish 4th with a double bye as tarheel0910 stated above. UNC record of 31-9 overall and 13-8 in conference play currently in 5th place.
I think they’re the best team in the ACC. They just shit the bed in the first couple of series.
We have state and FSU after Pitt. That FSU series might decide the regular season winner if we handle our business and FSU drops another series before then.
