It's a compelling story, but it's also nonsense. If Brown really believes his purpose in life isn’t to win football games but to impart life lessons and inspire teenagers to do great things in life, there are multiple outlets for him that don’t require finishing ninth in the ACC or collecting a $5 million annual salary.

Point I have made to AJ. Mack always praises himself as the epitome of caring man, who cares more than anybody else, and thus anybody who wants me removed from coaching football is a vey very bad person.

All conmen play that game often and masterfully. Mack is such a conman.

I warned when he was hired what he is deep down and predicted that his ego would mean either he ruin the program far more than Bunting did, or else get fired after a messy war among boosters and fans. That id what Mack did at Texas, and he learned no lessons from it. The same Mack that Texas had warred to drive off signed on to UNC. Same ego. Same vanity. Same self-righteousness. Same nastiness in promoting himself. Same soft football featuring failure to maximize the talent mon the team and so losing games every year the team should have beaten.

Mack started his UNC days taking a 5-6 team that had 3 losses to Top 10 teams and turning it into back to back 1-10 teams. All the while he blamed Dick Crum for his 1-10 teams. Mack today is that same lying pile of crap who blames everybody buy himself for his endless weaknesses and his many failures.

I always liked Mack but the last 2 years he has revealed his true colors…It’s all about Mack and winning 300 games….That’s why I said he should have been fired after JMU….Nothing has changed and we will have the lowest rated class in the ratings era for UNC….Also have no money for the portal….Next year will be bad and I mean bad….

Mack will leave UNC worse off than he found it…Unreal….

I tried to tell everybody what he is and how he does. Your final sentence is what I warned of. Mack is Mack - same colors, same spots, same beliefs, same EGO, same vanity. He caused such trouble among Texas boosters and the admin people that Texas is only now fully recovered from the fallout. Mack is slick talking poison.

Fire him today. Fire the staff. Hire Jon Sumrall on the secret (he will not want to get his team off track as it readies to play for a conference championship and possibly in the playoffs). Order him to never hire anybody on Mack's coaching tree.

Mack is all ego, all vanity, all the time. He strung out Texas for years, forcing Texas boosters to pay through the nose to get rid of him. I wonder how many UNC fans will still say Mack is a good guy when he's forcing UNC to fire him?

UNC will have to fire him…He wants 300 wins so bad even if it took 2 more years…He doesn’t give a shit about UNC….I use to really like and think Mack was a good guy and coach but these last 2 years have opened my eyes…People forget he was trying to coach at UVA before UNC….

Mack Brown reportedly interested in Virginia job

At least if it's up to him, you haven't heard the last of Mack Brown when it comes to the college coaching game.
