oh, to have been there, but watching it on TV was amazing enough. Honeycutt's HR-signifying action was the best I've ever seen.
I bet there isn't a man on this board who would have bet a dollar that Honeycutt would crank one on that pitch. I can't imagine what their pitcher Clark must have felt like.

Or they will be emotionally drained knowing they bet the house on getting game 1 with their Ace and having pitching advantage last night!! Looking at stats their next best starter had about a 2 run higher ERA after Clark.
Just jump on them early since we will be the visitors tonight and it will be even harder on them
Those wins leave the biggest impact. Its fun to win 9-1, but there is no thrill like taking a brutal battle inn the final inning.
Hopefully this team just keeps getting tougher with each clutch win.
Yeah - I assume they left him in so long because they have a weak bullpen, because they lack pitching depth. When you have a true Ace and a weak overall staff, you must win that 1st game with the Ace in order to have confidence you can win a 3 game series.
Let's hope it stops with us. Don't need those fools in Raleigh to go with us.
