If I had to describe the single best descriptor for K's success at Duke, I'd say it is overachieving. No matter which set of players he has put on the floor, year after year, that's them. With UNC, it's underachieving. To say we had toughness last month, and lost it at Notre Dame is incorrect. I .have to think it's the coaching. There are a few players who give there all, like Hicks, but the absence of a warrior mentality is obvious. For the most part individual players are not playing up to their skills/ability.
