Romar Morris - (New York Jets RB)

Romar is a surprise player in the Jets training camp. The undrafted rookie is catching a good break, and trying to seize the moment, and turn some eyes. Morris couldn't seem to break the depth chart at UNC his senior year, but maybe he just may be the Jets mystery man, he is making some plays early and maybe this will give him a slot on the final roster.

Preseason Game 1 vs Jacksonville - Morris had 11 carries for 27 yards, but left with an shoulder injury.

Quinshad Davis (Detroit Lions WR)

UNC's all-time career leader in receptions, found himself not being picked in the NFL Draft, and started camp with the Lions struggling. But with some help and guidance by close friend and teammate Eric Ebron, Davis began making some big time catches in camp, and seems to be heading in the right direction in order to find a spot for himself. He has the potential to be a decent wideout in the league.

Preseason Game 1 vs Pittsburgh- Davis had 2 catches for 14 yards.

Shakeel Rashad (Houston Texans ILB)

Rashad is showing off his great athleticism and ability to get inside and cause some destruction. So far in camp he is holding his own, but is going to have to beat out some of the other young linebackers to get the final call from the Texans.

Landon Turner (New Orleans Saints OG)

UNC's heart, soul, and leader of the 2015 North Carolina offense, was another one of UNC's UDFA, who got their pick on what squad they wanted to join. Sometimes these are the best chances to make rosters they fit your style of play. Going into camp, many saint beat writers and coaches expected Turner to stand out and be a immediate impact player with high hopes of making the final roster. This could come down to pre-season play. As of right now it seems from multiple sources following the Saints the final OL spot may come down to Turner an another UDFA in the form of Jack Allen.

Jeff Schoettmer (New Orleans LB)

Going from an un-proven walk on safety to an leader and LB on a coastal champion UNC team, Schoettmer is used to proving people wrong. If anybody can make a roster when most pan him not to it will be the Texas native. This pre-season Jeff will get to show Saint coaches and other teams what he can do, it will end up being his hard-work and will to do whatever it takes to get the job done to make him successful.

Mike Triplett of ESPN NFL Nation reporter who covers the New Orleans Saints on Jeff Schoettmer "I've seen a couple of nice moments, but to be honest he hasn't flashed much for better or worse. Partly the nature of the MLB position."

Preseason Game 1 vs New England- Jeff had 1 tackle
