Hanging around home also. Gonna try to play golf and grill out if the weather allows, but Sunday and Monday are not looking good here weather-wise.
Wrightsville. Getting in a little boat and beach time before the rain comes. Marinating some chicken for the grill. Avoiding the crowds.
I'm gonna be watching the Heels take on Loyola in a LAX National Championship Semifinal at noon today.
Yep. And the Indy 500 and lady Heels tomorrow. Smoking ribs tomorrow afternoon. And beer. Lots of beer.

My son is in his first school play. Last night was opening night and two performances today. Was watching the Heels game but I just had to bring my son to the theatre so now just checking the score. Tomorrow we're gonna have some lake fun at a buddy's house and if I'm a good boy, I may get loose for some golf on Monday.

I came down with that shit yesterday evening so I've been unable to even so much as raise my head off the pillow until about 30 minutes ago. Plans are cancelled for me. My wife had to take the boys fishing out in the Gulf by herself today. I'm not sure who I feel worse for, her or them. So now that I just threw a downer at this thread I'm going to slide back in the bed and hope you all feel bad for me this weekend.

Ribs on the grill at the moment. Cold beer in my hand. Had a decent round of golf. Things could be worse.

Volunteered with the Humane Society yesterday. Volunteered with BBBS today. Hope to get my kayak on the lake tomorrow morning and paddle for a few hours before spending the rest of the day watching movies and being a bum.
I've been chilling watching Bojack Horseman on Netflix. Just getting into it, but it's pretty funny so far. It features a lot of people from shows I've enjoyed over the years; Will Arnett, Aaron Paul and Alison Brie play the primary characters.
Also, taking a few moments to reflect on those who gave all to make our country great. RIP to the men and women who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
Thanks Billy. I am feeling much better today. Whatever that was knocked the crap out of me. I have to make up some ground today and give my wife her much needed holiday rest.

Of course. Decided to sleep in today (yes!), so I'll head to the lake after the game. At 1 pm I'll have the men's lacrosse championship on TV and Hayley Carter in the women's singles championship on the laptop (NCAA.com).
Cool. I'm getting ready to leave for Chapel Hill in a few minutes. Mrs 71 and I are going to go for a 4-5 mile walk around campus, Gimghoul, etc and then end up back at Carolina Brewery for the game.
Nice. Road tripping to Philly was ambitious, but that's the next best place to be. I'm jealous I don't live closer.
