I saw only a little bit of the Nebraska at Minnesota game, and it was exactly as I expected: predictably dull BT football. ACC football quality is at least as good as BT football quality, and more fun to watch. Losing at Home to Minnesota would be another bad slap in the face.

UConn looked good, for UConn, against the Fighting' Wufs. Is Mora making progress amongst the Nutmeggers? Or is Moo going to be flat? Or perhaps Moo was holding its cards to its vest rather tightly because next up is ND.

Napier may not be Gators HC for long. Losing to a Pac team, any Pac team, is not the kind of thing. Gatirs fans think should ever be possible. If you need any more proof that this conference destroying to force consolidation has nothing whatsoever to do with football quality, take a good look at the Pac. This year the Pac top to bottom again will be better than the BT. And this is the last year the Pac will exist.

GT looks pretty good through the 1st Half.

Miami looks like a team that knows it's a team, which was not true for most of last year.

I'm impressed with GT D toughness. Cards have been in RZ 4 times: 3 FGs and only 1 TD to show for it.

Miami fresh RB mark Mark Fletcher is big and strong, with good balance.

Key and his staff prepared a very good game plan, and in the 2nd quarter it worked to perfection. Then came Half Time. Jeff Brohm saw what GT had been doing, and made his corrections, and then the Cards took over and won. The game was decided primarily by the fact that Brohm is a much more experienced HC with a history of being able to adjust at the Half.

They have a culture at Wisconsin…Line up run the ball…he doesn’t fit that culture…He lost us the Ga Tech game last year by not running the damn ball up 17-0…It’s 14-10 right now Wisconsin over Buffalo….Keep in mind they are not playing the Bills…

BT football. Bret Bielema had a 212-1 record at Wisconsin, as well as closing his time there leading the Bdgers to 3 consecutive Rose Bowls. But he was a flop in the SEC at Arkansas. In Year 2 at Illinois, he had the usually hapless Illini 8-5.

Longo should have stayed down South, either as OC elsewhere or maybe a G5 or even 1AA (FCS) HC. Or maybe Pac OC.
