Great. I'd like to beat a Top 10 Miami once again. The big name bias is not very subtle in the polls. Miami has played a laughably soft schedule but they're sitting at #10.
That's ok. Just makes our SOS and perception better when we beat more ranked teams. Plus we get that benefit when BBall rolls around. The big name bias is not very subtle in the polls. Miami has played a laughably soft schedule but they're sitting at #10.

Could be, but this is a rivalry game, one Richt and the Miami players will want to win badly. And this FSU defense is the weakest I can remember since they joined the league.Agreed. Not just because it would be fun, but because it looks great on our resume. But I think FSU is going to stomp them this week.
I believe it was the awful Dinich who said after Week 1 that our loss to UGA meant that there was no way that a team with 2 1-AA foes could get into the playoffs, because only a undefeated P-5 team with 2 1-AA foes could have any shot.We are set up well IF we elevate our game and win out like last season. Gotta take it one game at a time but we at least have the chance this season that if we win out and win the conference championship game, we'd likely get into the playoff.
Shame we didn't beat GA. We would then be highly ranked like Tennessee or higher actually, but we didn't look that good. Neither do they.
I think we have the upside to get better though. Just keep winning and keep getting better.
Hate to disagree with you, Woad, but it would be better for ACC football, and a more likely scenario for Clemson to be 12-0, Miami 12-0, Louisville 11-1 and Miami/Clemson playing in Orlando. By the way, really hope you guys beat VaTech this week.I believe it was the awful Dinich who said after Week 1 that our loss to UGA meant that there was no way that a team with 2 1-AA foes could get into the playoffs, because only a undefeated P-5 team with 2 1-AA foes could have any shot.
The best thing for ACC football now would be for Clemson to be 12-0, UNC 11-1, Louisville 11-1. Georgia finishing 10-2 would be best for us.
