Do we want to just have him pick a replacement, or have have everyone repick up to 2 people (meaning 0-2 repicks at the discretion of the poaster)? Just figuring some people might want to change out a couple picks, and also - if there is any newly found "talent" out there that didn't seem like a good pick the first time around, but is now a no-brainier, THN could go on a run by being the only one that can scoop those people up.

I say for simplicity's sake, just let THN pick a replacement. If it turns out he is going on a run, then we can change the rules then. But I do think that he needs to pick his replacement within 24 hours- he can't wait it out.

I get what you are saying, but another draft, even if only a couple of rounds, might push some poasters in here over the edge.

Yeah, just let him pick another. I'll send some money as soon as we know how. I just got paid so this all fell at a good time.
 
Sorry guys. Today was hectic. I'll work on a new team member by the end of today (Sunday), as well as getting you all my info for money delivery.
 
Did we ever agree on a dollar amount? It started at $20, but then several people seemed to agree that if we were going to make it a running pool it needed to be $10 to keep everyone from going bankrupt.

However if someone is in hospice, or life support, or something like that, that takes them out of the running in my other pool. But that part can be open to discussion.

He made it almost exactly 3 months, which was my prediction for the duration of the round. I got the wrong one out of hawking and Ali, I was gonna pick both of them together in the last double round but THN scooped him up.

We ended up at $10 per round. People should be able to back out at the end of each round though, if they don't want to keep going.

I made my new pick in the pinned thread. Suggestion, can we also get everyone's email up on that pinned first page of that thread? I don't do PayPal (I do VenMo though), so I'd prefer not to get my winnings that way, but I guess I'll set it up if people are against sending it any other way. Usually in these OOTB contests, we just mail checks to the winner.

So you and Lyles are the only 2 Americans not using PayPal?

I have no idea what VenMo is.

I'll set up PayPal tomorrow when I'm at work.

And VenMo is a really cool app IMO. Let's you exchange money with friends. It's great for nights out and if you have roommates. It would be ideal for skins golf rounds too, if that's your thing.
 
So I've poasted the emails of those that gave them in the main CDP thread (1st poast). We've reached the "coolness" level required to give the Celebrity Death Pool an acronym name now.

I'll continue to include emails once they're poasted - looks like HMW already sent the cash to THN, so for those that already can get him the cash I guess we don't need your emails (for now). Now would be the time for anyone looking to bail prior to the next round to say so. I figure there may be people that don't want to perpetually be on the hook for $10 - so they can back out at the end of a round each time going forward.

I'm in for one more round, I reckon. But if I don't win the next one, I'm probably out. That Billy Graham pick is really going to haunt me.
