Let's just say I was hoping a couple of those guys wouldn't be in Phoenix.
At least no one is posting the refs home address and flooding their personal business website with one star reviews like UK fans. That group needs to be neutered.

I peaked over at Rupp Rafters, they are INSANE. They have literally 30 threads about the officials. It's honestly part of the reason I hate that Gary just harps on it all the time, makes you look bad as a fan base. Focus on the players and coaches.
One idiot posted something saying he hoped the UNC plane crashed. Glad they are just as classy as their coach.

Ya, whining about a particular ref is bad enough - but going to the extent those clowns are is just insane.
Gary would be well suited as a UK fan. We don't blame it on the refs and we sure as how don't do it preemptively to have an excuse.

Two of these refs call a game tighter than my grandad's hush puppies.. I don't care what anyone thinks, the style of game the refs call can have a huge impact on the game. If it's called the same way on both sides that's one thing but if it's one sided... well..

One thing that strikes me is the evaluation process... like, huh?
For example the most widely respected zebra in the ACC rotation (Roger Ayers) is conspicuously absent.
As for some of the individuals on that list, Teddy is a showboat but is a generally good ref. Higgins is known to be a bit whistle-happy (as is Harris, with whom I'm less familiar), but that could be ok if it stops mayhem. Groover is a relative newby --- we had him a few times this season, and IIRC I singled out him and one of his crew-mates for a well-called game earlier this season. However he was on that ACCT dook crew that stunk it up so badly --- he wasn't the worst culprit but I'm skeptically neutral on him thus far. Eades has good mechanics and is usually on top of the rules, but he's prickly and has what coaches call "rabbit ears", and as our friend @mikeirbyusa puts it, he has absolutely been our kryptonite in too many games over the years. Padilla? He's the guys who's a bail bondsman by day, right? We don't see much of him, from out west I believe. IIRC he doesn't like Sean Miller (so he can't all bad

You being able to type something this long about individual officials should be sign #1 that you have a problem.
Our players/coach will win or lose this game, this officials shit is nauseating.
i think we can agree that officials call games differently so i'm wondering if college b ball coaches analyze data to try and get an advantage.
All kidding aside i do feel how certain officials will call a game is certainly a relevant discussion. Truth be told the ky game was called very loose. I couldnt believe more of our blocks werent called fouls. And that last possession of monk's before half where two of our players were all over him shoulda been a foul on us. But what i find totally disgusting is to hear. the ky play by play guys. They were blatantly bashing the officials and they're the ones incited their fan base to their sickening reactions. I have no prob with homers being homers but holy crap that was the most unprofessional pile of crap ever.
