What current UNC player is making the most NIL dollars?

Just guessing (obviously) but I think the season probably started with these guys on top

RJ - because he's RJ
Cade - because we were desperate to get a top transfer
Elliot - because everyone expected a big jump in his soph year

Early on, Elliot probably moved up because he was looking like the guy we wanted him to be; whereas RJ and especially Cade were not.

Seth started on fire, so I hope he got some love, too. But I wouldn't be surprised if the money was cautious.

At this point in time, I imagine Ian is getting most of the new money. Seth next.

I wonder if it's contractual or it's conditional based on performance? NIL is a total cluster flop and "amateur" sports swirl down the toilet continues. Just waiting for a biological male to get a sweet NIL deal in NCAA women's sports from AB's Bud Light brand.

No doubt. Pay for play and should have contracts imo. Ok you want 2mil. Stay two years and perform to these standards. What? You want to transfer? Breech and you get zilch or owe us. Wanna play for pay, get treated like any others doing the same.

In this simple short post you've figured out way more than the brain wizards at the NCAA have been able to collectively figure out. What a bunch of incompetent idiots.

Seriously - are we to believe the big money D1 college sports (men's football and basketball , MAYBE men's baseball, hockey, women's basketball) - couldn't get something very smart and strategic long term and fair to all players, coaches, etc... in say about a week of time?

Get people in a conference like: Roy, K, Saban from Alabama, Jay Wright maybe... and possibly some other football guy. Then maybe some recent past players to represent their interests, and possibly some competent ADs from both big $ generating and smaller $ generating schools.

It doesn't seem like it should be more complex than the Manhattan Project. Right now it is a disaster that is ruining the purpose of college athletics - if that purpose is entertainment, and developing players for next level. I fully understand that academics play no part in these top flight (D-1) college athletics, for kids whose "job" is to play on a team that generates big $, and who think they might be able to play for pay after college. They are just getting started on their athlete for income career early.
