Two games in and we haven't had a real game thread.... Happy to get the ball rolling for the next one (if online)

There was one for the first game it just wasn't labeled as such. I don't know what happened today as I didn't have my computer with me. Tuesday night will be tricky for a lot of us because we will have to watch it on WatchESPN, which obviously makes posting in game threads problematic.

A team that supposedly started 5 Seniors and beat Tennessee by 13 on the road, Soap. Impressive win indeed.

As for game threads, if it's game day, regardless of how early, start one if you feel like it. We should have one for every game.

IDUNK was the official game thread starter for the board and he has moved over to Premi and was poasting his thoughts over there.

What Scott said . .

Anyone can start one . . just know that if we lose that game, that both you and Roy will share the blame.

j/k of course . .

Please don't jinx it! Premium has a huge game thread...

I like having a game thread so we can keep most of our thoughts on one thread. There is always some overreaction on game threads, especially during bad stretches or when we lose, leading to blaming the refs/players/coaches/fans, etc...

But even with the heat of the moment leading to irrational posts from mostly rational people, I enjoy them. We often talk about how players succumb to pressure. Game threads are an interesting study in how fans react to that same pressure.

So if you want to start one and there hasn't been one started, by all means do so.
