What if? A Year of Movies

I’m pretty much burned out on them too.

But I did see a preview recently for an animated spider-man movie that looks cool. I don’t recall the title, but who needs IMDB, when we’ve got @heelz2345
Yeah, Into The Spider-Verse! I'm really intrigued by it for a few reasons, not least of which is because we'll get to see Miles Morales as Spidey. But the animation style looks very interesting, hope it's great!

Alright, here's the schedule for the first two phases. It'll be my responsibility to manage the calendar, meaning I'll make changes as people join in or drop out. I'll start a new thread for each round and tag whoever is up next.

Seeing it written down makes me realize this is pretty ambitious. Looking forward to whatever you guys come up with, though. I'll start a thread on Sunday to name the first movie.

P.S. The Godfather trilogy is now on Netflix if anyone wants to torture THN.
So.... just anything on Netflix is fair game?
Also, do we want to use a common scale (1-10) or four stars, or something like that where we can rate the movies? Or we just comment on the movie in general?

And finally, do we get bonus points if we elect a movie that heelz hasn’t seen yet?

The Hell is the matter with y'all? I guess y'all didn't watch Carolina Football during the mid 00s, nor do you ever listen to a radio.

I guarantee the women in your life know who he is.
He’s a country singer so..... I don’t listen to that genre. You shouldn’t be shocked that I don’t know this.

I checked with Mrs. THM (she does like country music) and she’s heard of him but wasn’t sure she could name any of his songs.

I knew him from football, and then was like “oh he’s a musician now?” I don’t hear him much on the radio but I also don’t have a country station in my regular rotation.

My understanding was it would be preferred to recommend things that are either on Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon for ease for most everyone involved. Does everyone have access to those?

In addition to his own music, his first musical claim to fame is he wrote the song "Cruise" for Florida-Georgia Line. I know you two have heard that song, or at least I hope.

But next time you wanna get your wife in the mood, put on Chase's song "Ride." You can thank me later.

All I have is Netflix, but don't let that stop you guys if you want to nominate something on hulu or Amazon.

Yes, anything on Netflix. It's probably easiest to pick movies from there, unless there's a movie you feel really strongly about on another service. In that case, people can set up a free trial to see it.

Hadn't thought about ratings. Sure, we can do that. Let's use a 10-point scale since that provides more flexibility than a 4 or 5-point/star scale.

Actually I’m going to need a full scale of 0-100 to accurately rate these movies
