What this ford needs

Wait, what? If Temple of Doom is not one of the two good Indiana Jones movies, it would be Raiders and what? God, please don't say that one with Sean Connery in it. I almost dislike Sean Connery now because of that movie.
Well, sorry to disappoint, but yeah, Last Crusade is way better than Temple of Doom in my book. Kate Capshaw in Temple of Doom is one of the most grating performances I've ever watched. It just doesn't feel like Indiana Jones to me. The third has some flaws, but I really like the dynamic between Ford and Connery, and it does the things that made the first successful, like fighting Nazis or going after an artifact that the audience has a working knowledge of. The movies that abandon those things are the worst two for me.

Additionally, Spielberg himself has said Temple of Doom is the worst Indy movie (apparently over Crystal Skull, which, I wouldn't go that far, but that's me)

A trend worse than men wearing earrings - the fedora.

If any of you own a fedora, please go throw it in the trashcan immediately. And while you're at it, no one likes your skinny jeans either so they should follow.

The Ford Bronco. Historically, one of the coolest 4x4s ever invented. Through the late 60s, all of the 70s and most of the 80s, these things were redesigned and always hit the spot. This one pictured here looks like a very early model - maybe the first year. My buddy in high school had a 74 model. Not quite as cool to men as the International Scout (of which another buddy in high school had a 77 model) but the Bronco was much more of a chick magnet than the Scout. Personally, I loved the early to mid 80s full sized Broncos. They were my favorites.

Wait...yeah...It's TOD and Raiders. This really isn't up for debate.

All the Indiana Jones movies blow. Spare me your outrage. If they came out today, you'd be like WTF is this ghey shit?

Whereas, if Star Wars: A New Hope came out today, you'd still be like this movie is badass af.

Sorry, just now seeing this. But I would say it's very much up for debate, because Temple of Doom has the most weaknesses of the first three no question.

Also, not that this is an absolutely accurate indicator of greatness, but TOD did the worst box office numbers of any of the films in the franchise, and had the worst Rotten Tomatoes score of the first three.

Parody threads are tired.

That being said, congrats to 0910 for finally starting a thread
