What was a class, lesson, chapter, teacher, language, etc., that you struggled with in school?

and is totally useless unless you have nerd friends to impress.

I was a math major in college for a little bit and had this five day a week calculus class. I never bought my books until after going at least the first day because some classes didn't use them. Well, this one did and we covered about half the first chapter the first day of class. I had to actually work fairly hard in that one, haha.

Latin in high school. Took it because my mother thought it would be good for men. Found out why Latin is a dead language. It killed the Romans and damn near killed me.
Oh, man! My high school girlfriend took that! She loved it. I cannot imagine conjugating verbs in Latin!

"Latin is a language
As dead as dead can be
First it killed the Romans
Now it's killing me"

- Author unknown, inscribed inside my high school Latin textbook

I won't say I loved it, but learning to use the correct part of speech for every noun, verb, adjective, etc. will really hone your skills in your mother tongue. Plus it was a great vocabulary builder, especially for those who went on to study law or medicine.

Yeah, I dated a girl for a while who knew Latin. She was pretty crazy.
