Heading into '22 the best defenders on the team are probably Vohasek, Murphy, Duck, Grimes, maybe Conley if he gets healthy enough. Gray has potential to be up here, and Ritzie might get up there.

These guys probably leave:

DL - Vohasek, Murphy, Noah, Collins. Anyone else leaving is probably leaving because they aren't a starter.
LB - nobody i hope. Though Gray, a true jr, could explode enough that he'd be a hot item on the NIL market or a potential late draftee.
Corner - Grimes, Duck. Hollins/Obi too.
Safety - Biggers, Chapman, Cam'Ron.
Nickel - nobody, unless Chapman is actually the starting nickel.

If Chapman starts at nickel, then that is 8 starters leaving. The entire starting secondary, and 4 of the best overall players.

'23 DL will have Shaw and the "power end" position should be stacked with Ritzie, Evans, Jacolby, but who knows what the other DL positions will look like since Silver was a little slow and overweight as a frosh and soph Hamrick would probably the be elder "jack".
LB would likely be very solid.
Safety/Corner are huge question marks outside of J Conley though.

Toss up IMHO.
