I remember the fuss about Vince carter participating in the graduation ceremony during the playoffs.

I remember being at a training seminar for principals one summer in CH. We went over to watch the guys playing summer ball and Worthy was there. One of our group had been his high school principal. Worthy was there taking summer courses towards his degree. When asked why they came back he replied that Coach Smith made all of them put $100,000 in escrow that would be held until they earned their diploma. Jordan was also there working on his degree.
