Just my opinion of course, but in order to be the best, you have to be a champion. Worthy was a champion, Jamison was just a very good player.
The best power forward while at UNC? Overall, Hansbrough (who gave us four years of All American quality play), and for a season, Worthy (who absolutely dominated for us en route to Dean's first championship, and was a sensational player as a Junior).
Best power forward to play at UNC? At his peak, it is criminally underrated NBA MVP Bob McAdoo. If not for injuries, he probably would have gone down as the second best NBA player in the history of UNC basketball regardless of position.
Combining impact at UNC plus overall pro career, I would personally take Big Game James.

Beg to differ. In 77, Ford and Kuester were the guards, Davis played the 3, Lagarde the 5 until he was hurt with Chickie and Wolf backing him up, leaving O'Koren as the 4. He continued to play 4 his later years.
He might have played the 4, but he was not a 4. The thread asks for the best "power forward", no one thinks of O'Koren as a power forward.
Are you seriously going to tell me that Noel , who had a career average of 6.9 and a yearly high of 12.9 is even in the conversation for top PF at UNC? George Lynch , J.R. Reid , Brice Johnson , Mitch Kupchak say Hi.. I like Noel A lot , but some of you remember his career a lot different than me. Great role player.
My dad says Worthy, I remember as far back as the 86 season, so I am going to go with Lynch in my lifetime.

Yup. Semi final game against KU in 93 IIRC? I have seen that, still didn't see what Eric did wrong on TV, but I am sure something did for Lynch to act like that.
01/19/1974 UNC tied 71-71 with a vastly inferior dook team in Durham(same year as the great comeback) , dook has the ball with seconds left and hoping for a final shot to win. Bobby Jones picks off the inbounds pass and streaks to the basket for a winning layup at the buzzer. I remember it like it was yesterday.
I was 9 in '67 , but I remember Bobby Lewis , Larry Miller , Rust Clark , Bill Bunting and Dick Grubar like it was yesterday....good times , not a care in the world.
