They asked for any Tar Heel fan who saw it to apologize on their behalf so I wanted to give credit where it's due. Kudos to them for that. Health issues far exceed any fan rivalry, even one as heated as ours. They realize that and I appreciate that they did.

Any coach who wouldn't want the aforementioned players on their team is a coach I would never want. Great players and great kids.

At the end of the day, if you as a fan don't want a player or players with the talent of a Kobe Bryant, Lebron James, or a Kevin Garnett on your team then it's hard to take such a fan seriously.

Matt Jones, Amile Jefferson and Grayson Allen all juniors and seniors. Beautiful mix if you ask me but alas nobody asked me. Carry on my good men

That's besides the point. The fact of the matter is that under the current rules and in TODAYS game all three of those guys would be OAD. Hell I think Rasheed Wallace and Jerry Stackhouse would be OAD. You wouldn't want a player the caliber of those two on your team?

Allen will get his fair shots. Look for Frank Jackson or Luke to be the odd man. One of those players will be this season Derrick Throyton.

I think Luke is absolutely perfect for this team. He stretches the floor and allows Grayson, Frank and Tatum to drive at will. I think the odd man out if we're being honest would end up being Matt Jones (even though he is a senior captain). However, I think all 4 get plenty of touches, with Matt getting the least.

It won't be Frank Jackson. He is phenomenal and at a completely different talent level than Throyton is/was.

Most of those guys were how you describe them - great talent and great kids. Not sure about these two. It's well known that Rivers isn't well liked and I think we're all familiar with Jahlil "Lights Out" Okafor.

I think Kennard will be the 1st back court guy off the bench and matt jones, Jeter, and likely Delaurer (how ever ya spell his name) get a lot of pine time. K does not like to go over 8 deep, means either Bolton or Jefferson start while the other comes off the bench, Kennard comes off the bench and then maybe Matt Jones for a 8 man rotation. But if K elects to protect Giles knees a little then it may shuffle Jones out and either the freshman Delaurer or Jeter back in to the mix.
