BECAUSE WE DON'T HAVE A COACH SMART ENOUGH TO KEEP GOING TO HIM!He was eating Duke up.I dont understand why they stop going to him.
Glad you said it last year when Paige was the PG and still regressing even then.Said it last year and this year...moving Paige to sg was a dumb move. Worth a try but he's a mediocre sg. It's mental. He can't seem to adjust.
We took a consensus pre-season AA pg that led the team, showed great leadership and made him a mediocre sg. May be too late but put Paige back at starting pg and hope he comes back to his old self.
Paige and Brice are the guys that can consistently take over games and rise to the occasion. But Paige just can't do it for some reason at sg.

Did you watch last season? Paige was not playing pg the whole time. And of course, he was injured.
Paige had his best season his sophomore year when he played both positions, which is half the reason he is on the NBA radar even if he is too short to play SG in the NBA. I might buy the argument that Paige needs to play at least 15 minutes a game at PG in order to be effective but he proved that he can play SG his soph year.Roy was already moving him to sg and playing him at sg a lot, in case you didn't notice.
Plus, he was injured. But if you watched the games, you would have noticed Paige played sg quite a bit and regressed the more he played sg and that trend continued. He's not the same player unless in command of the offense at point guard.
I think dook started doubling him. Of course the rest of the team made it easy by not hitting any shots. Hell, I could block Meeks.
Wait a minute, what game were y'all watching? We were NEVER feeding Brice in that game. His domination and first half points were coming primarily from offensive rebounds and his hustle.
We didn't take nearly as many shots in the 2nd half and dook focused on keeping him away from the rim, so therefore his production dropped. Simple as that.
This.Maybe Brice got tired and did not have as much hustle also. GAME OVER LET'S GO BEAT THE CANES!!!
Berry-Marcus had 4 assist between them.
Nate had 6 in 14 minutes of play, we needed more Nate.
Duke made adjustments seeing as how he was the only one hurting them. See when a guy is killing you, usually you start to find him to put a body on him during rebound opportunities, you deny entry to him if possible, you start talking "where is Brice get on him he's killing us." Sometimes a coach may either employ a box and one or something similar. Let's make somebody else beat us. I think what I wrote is more likely a factor as opposed to guys on UNC simply deciding "forget Brice I'm going to win us this game." JMHO
