I can understand Roy wanting to try an develop the project that is Joel James. But aside from a decent touch on a 12 ft jumper, it didn't work. I know Roy got caught in recruiting and had to get a big body, but James would struggle to be real effective in the SoCon, much less a program like UNC. Ditto Hubert.
Someone above called out anyone critical of Nate Britt. I am still in that critical corner. Did a couple of good things against Arkansas in a up and down game, but it doesn't change the fact that his lateral quickness on defense in terribly slow and probably gives up 2 points for every 1 he might score. Nice kid. Decent basketball player. But one would expect a better talent at a program the stature of UNC. Furman type talent. He reminds me of the Morrison/ Boone combo from years ago.
