Why wouldn’t Puff come back and start at the 3?

But he's only 24% shooter from 3. 😏
Here's why I hope he pulls out of the portal.

1. His play in the 2nd half of the national championship game showed he can be a big time player.

2. His brother was constantly hurt in college. He eventually got healthy and maybe Puff will too.

3. Even if he remains a poor 3pt shooter and constantly banged up, he'd still contribute to more wins next season than Brady Dunlap. Right now we aren't exactly hitting it out of the park in our attempts to fill our open scholarships.

A few concerning things about Puff, is he is seems to get banged up every other play. Also he shows poor stamina, often looking exhausted after a few minutes, whether he is searching for air or getting over worked on block outs (Seen the national championship game where he was throwing up). He hasn't seem to gain much muscle in his 3 years, which is also concerning.

Would I welcome him back? Sure, but to me, he is what he is. A 10 minute spark plug player. Still need to get a starter at SF

He was hit by a Kansas player in the midsection. It had absolutely nothing to do with conditioning. You can re-watch the game to confirm, or read the quotes from the UNC medical staff.

And he's got quite a nice history of boxing out bigger, stronger, more talented players in crucial moments.

Well that falls under getting banged up then, right? His fault or not, he gets injured too often to rely on.

All good points. I hate to see that kid leave

You tried to use that incident as your one example that "he shows poor stamina, often looking exhausted after a few minutes."

He doesn't show poor stamina. He doesn't often look exhausted after a few minutes. And you were wrong to try and use the title game incident to back up those specific false claims.

You try way too hard. Use your eyes, he often runs out stamina.

He is great at boxing out, he is below average at rebounding off those boxouts. I remember 3 times this year, very vividly that he boxed out but then didn't release or even jump to get the rebound
