Will Cam Go Pro This Year?

Go pro where? I haven't heard of too many players leaving college early to play overseas

After watching his game against ND I'd say no ... terrible game for him today. Looks like his shot has flattened out and that aint a good thing for a jump shooter .. jmho

How does that NCAA commercial go...."there is thousands of athletes and most will become professionals in areas other than sports".. Cam seems like a smart kid, and useful for our team for sure, but he lacks defense, and any consistent offensive move that would make him a pro.

Yup.

I actually like Kenny's chances over Cam's because of that. 6'4'' shooter that plays tough perimeter defense. I wouldn't bet on it, but I give him more of a long shot than Cam.

Kenny's three point stroke gives him a chance, it is special. His size is a real problem, and he doesn't finish well at the rim. Defensively he plays hard. Over all I agree he is a better pro prospect than Cam.

I suspect Cam is leaning toward going if he gets good news from Roy's research. I think so far his play says come back and get stronger while developing his areas of need. The ND game showed how far he has to go and I consider it a regression. After the film session, I expect him to show more effort, especially in rebounding and D, from now on. I would not be surprised to see him put it all together and blow up (gone) OR slowly progress with multiple ups/downs! (return)

CJ is frustrating at times since it is easy to see he has some serious potential!
