Captains: 22 seniors honored on Senior Day


• Mack Brown improves to 265-137-1 overall, including a 90-61-1 record in 13 seasons as head coach of the Tar Heels. Brown is 1-0 all-time against Wofford.

• This was the 22nd time in the last three seasons UNC has scored 30 or more points in a game.

• First game since Nov. 24, 2018, without a Sam Howell touchdown pass.

• Josh Downs had eight catches for 89 yards. He is now second all-time in receiving yards and receptions in a single season at Carolina.

• Jacolby Criswell earned his first career start at quarterback. He threw for a career-high 125 yards and compiled a career-high 66 rushing yards and his first career rushing touchdown.


• Criswell's 26-yard run in the first quarter was a career long for him.

• Ty Chandler is the 20th Tar Heel to rush for 1,000 yards in a season. The Tar Heels now have 31 1,000-yard seasons in program history. Chandler also went over 3,000 career rushing yards.


• British Brooks compiled a career-high 89 yards and notched his fourth career rushing touchdown, and his 38-yard run was a career long. It’s the first time he has had multiple rushing touchdowns in a game.

• Kyler McMichael grabbed his first career interception.

• Drake Maye threw for a career-high 89 yards, ran for a career-high 38 yards, and threw his first career touchdown pass.

• Kevin Hester Jr. collected a career-high four tackles.

• J.J. Jones’ 46-yard reception in the fourth quarter was the longest of his career.

• The Tar Heels held Wofford scoreless in the first quarter. It is the fourth time they have held an opponent to zero points this season in the first quarter.
