Personally, I want them to play in the NIT. I recall our being in the NIT in Henson's freshman season, that NIT in many ways set the tone for the following successful season. If we play in it, I do hope we treat it differently than the regular season, go with if not start the bench guys and play the bench guys for starter minutes.

It would be such a bad look to decline it. I would lose more respect for the program (staff) if they declined.

Of course they should play but the Smith Ctr needs to not be half empty. Hand out free tickets to all of the students who want them before selling any to alumni & fans.
