I worked for a summer at hickory chair. It was a furniture shop run by Carolina grads and they gave Washburn a job when they thought he was going to commit to UNC. Everyone said all he did, when he did bother to show up, was sleep in the trucks on quilts. He committed to State and no one saw him again!!
