Bullpen stunk it up today boys. But I guess if your pen is going to have a bad game as a whole. Might as well have it all in one game.
Bullpen was weak as water, just like all year. Pitiful effort.
From one of my best friends who scouts the SE for the Dodgers: Heels are living on borrowed time, not enough arms to get it done. I’d say that’s painfully accurate. Sure, we could’ve been in the drivers seat if Lancelotti shuts the door today. Sure, we can still get there with a couple victories, but I think we’re all kidding ourselves if we think we have the arms to get it done this year.
With that said, Busch was the number 1 guy on their board when they picked, thus the #31 overall pick to the Dodgers. I asked if he’d play 2B, he said possibly but would most likely settle in at 1B. Just FYI.
