Mike Zolk no longer part of UNC baseball team, will not be returning

According to a tweet from Aaron Fitt of Baseball America.

I haven't seen an official announcement but it seems to be true. Tough loss for the Heels...Zoom was clutch in some big spots last season. Good luck to him. Always a Tar Heel.

I've been out of the loop for the last few weeks and I'm just now catching up to this news... really tough loss for the Heels. Do we have any indication why Zolk left the team? Wish him well regardless...

Are u sure Raising. On Zolks twitter he was talking about going to the UNC Duke soccer game. If true hate to see him go. Did a good job last year. As far as his twitter that was on the 4th of Oct.

Yes it is true, Zolk did not have a high enough GPA to remain on the team.

He transferred to a small school. Maybe Landers or something. Not sure why transferred. 98 MPH heater.
