Love this kid. Once his motor is revved up a notch and he gets stronger/conditioned he will be a beast! He will learn to rim run very quickly and will become a force on O & D!

Wanna repeat he cannot join the heels of a scholarship doesn't become available. Even if he wants to.

The consensus on this board has been that Bacot could be gone whether he gets drafted or not and has shown no sign of change yet, so what's the point of repeating this? The spot being open is more likely than Ziaire taking said hypothetical spot.

Yeah, not a single expert has stated this and the consensus from a few fans is hardly worth taking to heart. If that was happening, then Roy would have already given Ziaire the go ahead to commit if he wanted to.

The consensus from experts is that bacot will be back.

Roy is again hoping Ziaire will wait til may to make a decision because he doesn't have a scholarship available and if one becomes available by some circumstances then he can bring Ziaire on board.

As of now, there is no Bacot is gone. We recruited Anthony's scholarship alrdy. That is a done deal. We have not recruited Bacot's. Should be a hint. (Anthony is 100% gone no matter what u wish and Bacot is not gone by consensus.)

Yeah, I agree, have said so many times, the NBA door is just not open for him right now, I strongly suspect it could be this time next year but just not right now. Folks should really worry more about Brooks leaving now than Bacot.

The chances are that one of them leaves, but 'ships happen!

I honestly think that peeps saying Bacot is adamant about leaving are misinterpreting what he actually told Roy though. Roy is going to pull out all the stops and show the youngster his options and then he and his team will make their choice. He will do the same for Brooks. Both peeps will then choos what is best in their minds with Roy's blessing! I wouldn't be surprised to see Bacot and Brooks test the waters and go through the eval phase. If either gets a draftable grade, then it is anybody's guess!

If NBA implements rule to allow high school kids to jump directly to NBA in 2022 , this kid may never see a college campus.

Wouldn't be a UNC class without early offers to at least 2 guys that will likely end up at Duke.

That being said, I like our chances with all the guys not highlighted in red. Maybe even Keels too.

I agree. On the other hand, give me Keels and fill in the rest. That kid is a game changer.

Hunter Salis (2021) OFFERED 4/27/20

This interview was a year ago...interesting comments on the type of team he wants to play for. Right up UNC's alley.

Good handles, good vision, and pretty good form on his shot. Guide elbow is a little squirrely, but the gooseneck is perfect. I would try to get him to start the shot a little higher but not mess with the rest. He will gain some weight/strength and might get an inch or two taller! I like his toughness and his swagger!

Go Get "em Roy!
Join the Family, Mr. Sallis!
