Riley lashes a one out double deep to the right field corner forcing Stetson to go to a southpaw out of their own with runners looming at second and third.
Danger time as Freeman comes up with the infield in. The southpaw walks Freeman to load the bases.
Ladowski comes up to pitch hit and he comes out swinging fouling off a couple pitches before fanning on a pitch in the dirt.

Gahagan a senior on a full count fouls off a couple before taking ball four on a high curve and the lead goes up to 7-3.

McNeil the leadoff hitter for the Hatters watches as Sparks steals second before he gets plucked and now Stetson has 2 on.
Spooner who opened the scoring with a first inning long ball for Stetson is now up with 2 teammates on base singles to left and a run crosses the plate and the Carolina bullpen is open for business again. Hiatt might have been out on the mound in this heat too long.
