UNC Will Face Boston College For Women's Lacrosse National Title Sunday

The top-seeded and No. 1-ranked North Carolina women's lacrosse team (21-0) will play for the 2022 NCAA championship when it meets No. 3 seed Boston College (19-3) on Sunday at noon in Baltimore. The Tar Heels are making their fifth appearance in an NCAA championship game and their first since 2016. UNC is seeking its third national title. (GoHeels.com)

The win in the semi over Northwestern is the most exciting women's lacrosse match I've ever seen. This is the best women's lacrosse team I've seen.

Some ridiculous stats:
*With the NCAA title today, every four-year UNC student who started school since 1977 has been on campus for at least one UNC national title. Those original students are now 63 years old. -Adam Lucas

*UNC WLax won the 47th NCAA team title in school history, 16 more than any other school in the ACC.

*UNC Baseball won the 288th ACC team title in school history, 140 more than any other school in the ACC.

Should be an exciting year for the lacrosse team, there will be some challenges as usual.

That was an impressive win by the women's lacrosse team, looking forward to another outstanding season from them. Hopefully, they will be able to dodge the injury bug to key players.
