UNC’s assist/TO ratio is .635 so far this year. That would rank 348 out of 353 D-1 teams last season. It’s hard to win when you aren’t moving the ball for good looks....and keep giving it away.
The out of bounds lob attempt at the end of the game was just stupid. Cost us the game to be honest (because that led to Texas scoring to tie the game up)..
But even more... when’s the last time UNC has not given up a ton of 3’s? (Unless the other team is unlucky and not making them). They give up more wide open looks than any team I have ever seen in recent years. Texas made nine 3’s and we made 1. Take away some of theirs or make some of ours and we win that way also.
Just bad play and very low scoring so far this season.
