I think Sumrall has shot himself in the foot with the eggs he has laid the last two weekends. I’d figure that Monken from Army is now a more serious candidate. And though not a flashy hire, he is an excellent coach. May be the DC from UGA would work out, but I don’t care to hire assistants. And we all know at UGA that no matter the title, that Kirby runs that defense. Campbell would be great, but he seems to turn down opportunities every year to stay at Iowa State. A hard no on Bill. Trading one old coach for another isn’t a good idea, and he is just wanting to do it so he can cut a deal to have his son sitting there as coach in waiting.
