It was so hated because it was effective... most of the time. He was a good coach. I thought he would stay at UVA, and dominate, for at least another 10 years or so. I won't miss him.

I loved watching UVA lose (and lose BADLY) to UMBC in 2018. That was so much fun to watch! I have friends and cousins that are HUGE UVA fans, going back to Wally Walker and Sampson in the 80s.

When I was at unc over summer one year we had the great idea to go camping at the outer banks in july. Well the heat was bad enough but those horse flies….holeeeeeefukkkkkk. They were horrible. They knew just where to land on the small of your back or behind your knee to give themselves enough time to bite before being swatted. It was unbearable. We ended up saying “fuk it” and left first day. A couple hrs down the road we get out to piss and I guess they followred us. one landed on my neck and bit me. I caught him and we proceeded to torture him for a good fifteen minutes. Pulled his wings off, held a lighter to him….medieval shyt. Then glued him to the antenna still alive for the ride back to chapel hill.

(An antenna was a long metal rod attached to your car for radio reception)

Well I know a lot of people like him and this won’t be a popular take but if he did truly retire due to the “nature of the game” then he’s lost a lot of my respect due to the horrible timing. To do so now with no hope of being able to hire a replacement so close to the season open is a slap in the face to those kids he recruited and made promises to. I mean if it’s health or family issues I get it and would fully support it. But if it’s to make a statement…hell no I’m sorry he’s a effing hypocrite in my book. And yea his style of play absolutely sucked and I couldn’t bear to watch them play. So with all that in mind….

FSU OL cannot block Dook's pass rush. Not a lick. Dook going to win by 7 with less than 200 yards total offense.

Very ugly game.

Try reading one of those. I suggest Greek Civ/ history and Roman Civ/history for starters. You've heard of them, I trust.

We've know for a while that we are unlikely to land any 5 star recruits in the class of 2025. The writing was on the wall when we struck out on all the top big men in the transfer portal this summer. If we want the type of talented recruits that have carried UNC to every banner hanging in the Smith Center... we'll have to pay top dollar for them. The recruits love Hubert. But basically none of them are going to turn down life changing money from other schools when they could blow out a knee tomorrow.


Caleb Wilson was, for a long time, our best shot at an elite recruit in this class. But now he's repped by Klutch. Klutch is all about money, and an absolute headache for coaches to deal with during the season.
