One of the prettiest states in the country being destroyed by unchecked lib policies. California has always had a water shortage. It has only been exacerbated by the increase in population and poor planning over the last few decades. Reaction to every fire season versus proactive planning.
Demoncrats don't want desalination plants to solve the entire problem. Carlsbad has desalination plant to get off relying on others for water. I doubt their fire department will have a water problem with wildfires. I believe it was the San Diego water commission behind their plant aka a lot of Republicans in the San Diego area.

You want to justify things by assigning "goodness" because it falls under this nebulous umbrella of "the environmental front." The problem is how you define that. Here's an article (it's got some age to it, but the thinking still applies) that shows that Cali doesn't let nature take it's course. Rather, they define "environmental" efforts to suit. Here's a startling fact from the article:

"Academics believe that between 4.4 million and 11.8 million acres burned each year in prehistoric California. Between 1982 and 1998, California’s agency land managers burned, on average, about 30,000 acres a year. Between 1999 and 2017, that number dropped to an annual 13,000 acres."

Since then, the amount, or actually lack, of burns have only diminished.

Late stuff (SMU game)...

We only won that game because we shot the ball well. We miss a few of those 3s and its a whole diff ballgame.
Maybe just maybe the shots were better cause they were wide open and not forced, and the right players were shooting. Drake taking more 3’s than say Withers. I have no problem with Withers taking the occasional 3 just to keep the defense honest but Drake is showing a better ability to make them
