Who's On Your Ten-Year Team?

The challenge is to build your best team from our last 10 years of teams, starting with 2015.

During that time, we had 1 Championship and 2 Runner-up teams. So the problem isn't how you come up with enough players, but who you leave off.

Here's the list I started with, dated by when they first appeared in Carolina blue (or 2015 if they were already on the team then).

I came up with 21 guys, so I need to lose 8 of them to get down to a 13-man roster. Getting down to 16 isn't too hard. A couple on my list were already "honorable mentions" in my mind when I added them. But ditching the last 3 is going to be hard.

Needless to say, other folks may have somewhat different starting lists.

2015
Marcus
Brice
Kennedy
Isaiah
JP
Justin

2016
Joel
Theo
Luke
Kenny

2017
Brandon

2018
Cam
Garrison

2019
Coby
Leaky

2020
Cole

2021
RJ
Armando

2022
Brady

2023

2024

Harrison

Defense

I know this is VERY unlikely but maybe HD can implement Dean’s old point zone next season. Big long JWash in the middle, Cade/Drake running the baseline; it’s possible that it could be effective. Again, I know it’s HIGHLY unlikely. The 3 point line has limited the amount of zone defenses, but it is a good way to limit an opponents big if we have trouble with physical post players

NC lawmakers seek to force UNC, NC State to play football, basketball vs. in-state schools

State lawmakers want to require UNC and NC State to play football and basketball games against other in-state public schools on a regular basis. Under a bill filed by Republican House members, UNC and NC State would be required to play at least one of ECU, App State, and Charlotte every year and play each school home and away every six years.
