Carolina over exceeded this season and there is no doubt about that

I really do not like to post after a loss until I have a day to calm down and reflect on what happened and why it happened so that I can write on a realistic manner and not one of mostly emotion. Saying that when I look back on a 29 win season and sweet 16 appearance I can honestly say UNC over exceeded my expectations for the season.

Think about what happened last season when a ton of players left and others graduated leaving the cupboard pretty bare. Also 4 transfers had to come on and make the transition to a new program and a tremendous high school point guard had to try and run a blue blood program. Also the fan base showed no mercy after an uncharacteristic Caroljna type season so nobody and I mean nobody had any idea of what to expect.

For anyone to say they knew all along with all of these changes that UNC would be a 29 game winner they are lying to themselves and to anyone who has followed Carolina over the past year.

Coach Davis and his staff did a tremendous job in molding this team and getting them as far as they got and no one can disagree truthfully with that statement either.

Yes it would have been nice to have gone a little further but this season was a big time success and I for one was glad to be along for the ride..

Inside Drake Maye's Showcase and More Patriots Tidbits From North Carolina's Pro Day

Drake Maye solidified himself as a top-three player in the 2024 NFL Draft on Thursday. He did so by showing what he does best, airing it over 60-plus yards from moving pockets and different platforms/arm angles with ease. His drive throws on seams, in-breakers, and skinny posts were on his receivers in a hurry, and Maye's deep ball was excellent. (Patriots.com)

Did Scheyer offer TJ Power just to keep him away from UNC?

Watching dook go down as their whole team bricks 3s and I'm wondering where is TJ Power?

When GG decommitted Hubert immediately went after Power (and Zayden High.) dook offered Power shortly after we did and landed him. Then they rarely played him all season and recruited over him for next year.

Did Scheyer only take him to keep him away from UNC? We spent about 80% of the season lamenting how little our bench gave us in the scoring column. Power is likely a poor defender, but his offense fits the Brady Manek role perfectly.
