is being held this weekend in Winston Salem. One big part of the event is the annual ACC campus tour. The bus is currently on the way, and should be on campus around noon with 54 of the camp's top players. I've got a list, and I'm going through the names, I will have more on some of the top players that will make it to UNC.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – University of North Carolina sophomore quarterback Drake Maye has been named to the 2023 Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award watch list. The award is presented annually to the top senior or upperclassman quarterback set to graduate with their class.

Maye registered a breakout season in his first season under center. After his remarkable 2022 season, Maye was named the Shaun Alexander and FWAA Freshman of the Year. He was also named a FWAA Freshman All-American after last season. Maye became the second player in ACC history to sweep all four awards (2022 ACC Player of the Year, ACC Offensive Player of the Year, ACC Rookie of the Year and ACC Offensive Rookie of the Year), joining Jameis Winston in 2013.

The award is named after quarterback Johnny Unitas, who was nicknamed "The Golden Arm" for his record-setting play for the Baltimore Colts in the NFL.

The 2023 award winner will be presented the Golden Arm Award trophy by The Johnny Unitas Educational Foundation President, John Unitas, Jr., as well as other notable attendees at the Golden Arm Award banquet and celebration at the Four Seasons Hotel in Baltimore, Maryland on Thursday, December 7, 2023.
