Other ACC Games Week 11

Getting into the home stretch.

This week opens Friday night with Cal in dead last place in the ACC at 0-4. The four losses are by a combined total of 9 points. Cal is then 4-0 in OOC play, including a 44-7 total beat down of former Pac rival Oregon St. If the Pac still existed, Cal would be among the top half of that league hands down.

Cal goes to Wake which is also 4-4 but is 2-2 in the ACC. This game is very important for both programs as they angle for bowl eligibility and then for Spring and then 2025.

On Saturday, we have 6-2 (3-2) Syracuse at 4-4 (1-3) BC. The Orange are bowl eligible but want more than the lowest tier bowl. The Eagles do not want Avery promising start to the season to end run no blow or even the worst bowl possible.

9-0 (5-0) Miami plasy at Bobby Dodd. The Yellow Jackets like BC have seen a very promising start begin to fizzle and now are 5-4 (3-3). If Haynes King can play at full health, GT could pull the upset.

Then we have one of those Can Space Aliens Just Capture Both of Them contests. 6-3 (2-3) Dook hops over to Carter-Finley to rub elbows with the 5-4 (2-3) Fightin Wufs.

6-2 (5-1) Clemson tries to regroup in Blacksburg vs. 5-4 (3-2) VT. The loser will feel his season officially ruined.

1-8 (1-7) FSU gets the big game on NBC vs the 7-1 Irish who still expect to make the playoff.

7-1 (3-1) Pitt hosts 4-4 (2-3) UVA. Pitt still has an outside shot at the playoffs, so this game is huge for the Panthers.
