Just Another Reason to Dislike King James Even More!

I understand the challenges of being constantly approached for autographs and photos, but I can’t imagine Michael Jordan handling it this way. The way LeBron dances towards the end just adds to my unease with him—there’s something about him that just doesn’t sit right with me.

In What Olympic Event Would You Have the Best Chance at Not Finishing Last?

Saw this question on the TV in the gym while I was there at lunch and thought it might be a good question for this board. Lets say it has to be an individual event so you're not being carried by a team. Here's a list of the events: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2024_Summer_Olympics

Maybe we could answer it as if the event were today and also if you had until the summer of 2024 to prepare.

If it were today, I'd probably be in trouble. But I'd enter the marathon and bank on someone DNFing so all I'd have to do is finish to not be last. Otherwise, I might have to go with fencing and hope that some third world country fields a team that I can beat.

If it's in 2024, the answer may still be the same. Maybe I could get good enough at archery in two years to not be last.

Tyzhaun Claude

I have been told that North Carolina has reached out, but I will find out more how genuine that interest is. Keep in mind that reaching out or contacting is a long way from being serious. Claude was granted eligibility a few days back that grants him a fifth season. The 6-8 power forward from Goldsboro has played at Morehead State, Western Carolina, and Georgia Tech. He averaged 15.4 points and 8.6 rebounds in 2022-23 at WCU, and 4.8 points and 5.2 boards this past season at GT.

Spurs sign Harrison Ingram to a 2-way deal

That's $559,782 for next season. Unfortunately 2-way contracts are rarely guaranteed deals, so they can cut him at any point and the paychecks stop.

For comparison, the Pelicans just signed the guy drafted 1 spot ahead of Ingram to a 3 year $5.41 million contract.

I'm disappointed for Harrison. I thought after his summer league play, and in light of other 2nd rounders getting standard deals, that the Spurs would find a way to give him a guaranteed deal and make him a full time part if their roster.

Leaky Black Waived By Charlotte Hornets

The Charlotte Hornets waived former Tar Heel forward Leaky Black on Thursday, ending his tenure with the franchise after one season. Initially signed to a two-way deal as an undrafted free agent following his final year at North Carolina, Black appeared in 26 games, starting three, and averaged 2.7 points, 1.8 rebounds in 10.9 minutes per game.
